Here at Movies4Kids we’re trying to make Christmas a better time for everyone, and what better way to do that than to recommend a couple of seasonal movies for the whole family (which means we can’t shoot a nice adult Die Hard, even though the Christmas movie is brilliant).

This year 20 films were shown, which are available on international and British streaming services such as Disney+, Amazon Prime, Netflix and British NowTV. Although this means that some classics couldn’t be recorded (sobbing – eleven) because they weren’t available on streaming sites at the time of writing, it’s an amazing list of Christmas treats, snow, warmth and toast that will put you in a birthday mood.

And don’t forget to click on the title of the movie to get a complete overview of Movies4Kids.

Arthur Christmas (Netflix)

One of the many beautiful films that have come out of Aardman Animation is the story of the son of Santa Arthur (voice of James McAvoy) who almost ruined Christmas by trying to bring a little girl the missing present on Christmas Eve.

Christmas song (Disney+)

The animated version of Dickens’ classic fairy tale has a somewhat scary scrooge (spoken by Jim Carrey) and is therefore recommended for older children and adults.

Christmas Chronicles and Christmas Chronicles 2 (Netflix)

Kurt Russell is Santa Claus in The Christmas Chronicles and his brilliant sequel with Goldie Hawn as Mrs. Klaus and Julian Dennison as canteen elf hunting wild animals.

Godmother (Disney+)

The young fairy goddess Eleanor (Gillian Bell) goes into the real world to help television reporter Mackenzie (Isla Fisher), whose request for help remained unanswered when she was a little girl.

Grinch (Netflix)

Animated adaptation of the classic children’s story by Dr. Seuss. Benedict Cumberbatch is for the fluffy green creature who hates Christmas, and for the happy people of Will.

Home alone (Disney+)

Macaulay Culkin is supposed to protect his home from the clumsy thieves Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci when his family accidentally goes on vacation and leaves him.

It’s a beautiful life (NOW TV).

This 1946 black and white film is a classic for a good reason: it shows one of the best films in James Stewart’s film legend, and although he was a big old crybaby, he finally gave you back your faith in mankind. Stuart, of course, plays the role of George Bailey, who contemplates suicide on Christmas Eve, but shows how his life has influenced the other angel in training, Clarence.

Jingle All the Way (on TV NOW)

Arnold Schwarzenegger – A father desperately tries to buy a sold-out Turbo-Man for his son in this seasonal comedy long before we could order all the presents online.

Jingle J: Christmas Trip (Netflix)

A great musical adventure about a disappointed toy maker and a granddaughter who finds magic in his creations. The film of the year 2020, which has already been given the name of Christmas classic.

Klaus (Netflix)

A great Christmas animated film in which the worst student of the Post Academy is exiled to a frozen island near the Arctic Circle. There he discovers Klaus, a mysterious carpenter who lives alone in a house full of handmade toys.

A miracle on 34th street (NOW TELEVISION)

The 1947 version with Natalie Wood is hard to find, but the 1994 remake with Richard Attenborough as Santa Claus in a department store and Mara Wilson as a little girl who thinks it’s real is always a pleasure.

The Christmas song of the dolls (Disney+)

The Muppets record the story of Dickens about Ebenezer Scrooge and make one of the most beautiful Christmas movies. Michael Kane is perfect in the role of the notorious miser, while Kermit is Bob Cratchit, Gonzo speaks and Miss Piggy steals the show as Bob’s wife.

National Christmas holidays in Lampun (Amazonas Prime)

Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo are Griswold’s parents whose Christmas plans – like the holidays and the European holidays – end badly. Juliette Lewis and Johnny Galecki from the Big Bang theory are also stars.

Nightmare on Christmas Eve (Disney+)

Tim Burton’s stop-motion animated film is not for toddlers, but their elders will love the story of what happens when Halloween King Jack Skellington discovers the town of Christmas.

Christmas (Disney+)

Anna Kendrick is Noel Kringle, who has to take over the family business when his father – Santa Claus himself – retires in this comedy, starring Shirley McLaine, Bill Hader, Julie Hagerty and Billy Eichner.

The Nutcracker and the Four Kingdoms (Disney+)

A rereading of the fantastic magical classic The Nutcracker and the Mouse King with the protagonists (Morgan Freeman, Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren, Richard and Grant).

Polar Express (TELEVISION NOW)

If you pass by a strange animation in which each adult character looks like a somewhat scary version of Tom Hanks (who also contributes a few voices), there’s a lot to appreciate in this animated story by Robert Zemeckis.

Santa Claus (Disney+)

A stupid but enjoyable comedy starring Tim Allen as a man who accidentally hurts Santa Claus and is magically recruited to take the place of a strange man on Christmas Eve.

Santa Claus Rescue (Amazonas Prime)

Noel Clarke, Joan Collins, Tim Curry and Martin Freeman are among those who bring to life this animated story about a little elf who alone can stop an invasion of the North Pole.

Scrooged. (Amazon Prime, NOW TV)

One for older children and adults, because this Scrooge is particularly annoying as played by Bill Murray. In this update of the 20th. In the 21st century, he is television director Frank Cross, who may or may not know the mistakes he made in the run-up to Christmas.
